sudden epiphany

the reason why stories about supernatural/not-normal-humans/not humans (for lack of a better term) being marginalized for their not being “normal” humans/being non-human cast white people as marginalized¬†

is because the general theme tends to be about how they should be treated better and have their personhood respected

and placing non white people in the role as beings who should be treated with respect and dignity goes against the status quo
